Good Essay Writers Don't Forget...

Today we brainstormed everything a good essay writer can't forget when writing a solid, multi-paragraph essay that cites evidence and does not plagiarize! This is a good reminder and check list for our state standardized testing coming up! This week is our first week of AZMERIT, and we are starting off with writing! Obviously, we cannot keep this list up on the board as a reference, but the ones we have circled are the things students mentioned are most difficult for them to remember to include. Students: try to memorize these and use them as a checklist as you are reviewing your work, before submitting your final essay! You can do it - we've been practicing all of these skills the entire school year!
