Today we had the opportunity to visit Alhambra High School as part of our STEM and CCR curriculum! Just to refresh what the acronym CCR means - it is college and career readiness. We want to expose our students to the various options Phoenix Union High School offers for their future goals. We went to see what the Alhambra High School AMPED program is like! AMPED is also an acronym, meaning: Algebra in Manufacturing Processes, Entrepreneurship, and Design. Students in this program have their algebra courses met, and at the same time use the engineering process to design machines and robotics! We saw the biology program, the 3D printers, and laser printer. Here are a few snapshots we grabbed while there!
