Six Minutes

After reading all of the ravings by other fifth-grade teachers, I decided to start the Six Minute Podcast with my students every afternoon during clean up. While students stack chairs and clean up the floors, they are intrigued by what will happen next to the characters in "Six Minutes." Every episode is six minutes long, and we follow the story of Holiday, a mystery girl with a hoverboard, and her "family" who found her in the water on a whale watching trip. There is something different about Holiday, and her "siblings" Cyrus and Byrdie want to help her find out about her past....and what their parents are hiding from them. Everyday the podcast leaves us on the edge of our seats, making predictions about what will happen next! The kids love it, and are being introduced to the world of podcasts, and making images up in their heads instead of watching video episodes!
