Meet The Teacher Night!

We had such a successful turn out for this evening, and it makes me even more excited to begin the year! Tomorrow is the first day of school and I know I'll barely sleep.

Room 41 is finally finished! My fiancé, Mr. McClain, helped with a lot of spray painting so everything matches to a tee. I'm doing everything to prepare fully for when students fill this space!

The students will be writing goals for the year on their own pennants in the windows! #goals

One of those posters is a list of attention grabbers for the class. One of my favorites is "Holy Moly!" And the students say, "Guacamole!"

Our ready position shows SWAG - Sitting up straight, Watching the teacher, Asking questions, and Giving respect.

I will add visuals and an analog clock next to each part of the schedule for added elements.

I will write what this day in history is every day as well as the school day # so we count down to 100th Day!
