Our Own Elections!

Today we have the Spitalny student council elections! Fifth graders can run to be president and fourth graders can run to be vice president! All of fourth and fifth grade will be voting. Mrs. Canuas and I have set up real voting booths so students can experience what it is like to be part of the election this year! They will even get "I VOTED TODAY!" stickers to wear the rest of our half-day! Once they select their chosen candidates, they will fold their ballots and place them in our "official ballot box." We are so excited for this year's election! (Plus, I'm so proud of two of my very own girls running for prez, woo hoo!!!) We have such great leadership and responsibility this year!
