Science Talks

After we finished reading Esperanza Rising, we moved into analyzing informational texts. If you ask your child what kind of texts we've been studying, his or her answers may range from interview to article to video! All three of these have been types of informational texts we've been studying - and ALL of them are about the rainforest! We have memorized maps of South and Central America to help us understand where most of the world's rainforests are, and we learned how to participate in science talks!
