Pressing Specimens

This week we learned how rainforest scientist Meg Lowman preserved specimens she collected from the trees. Once we recorded the process, we went and collected our own specimens and pressed them! We even researched the names of the trees in our area. I remember doing a similar project to this during the summer of my sixth grade year. Check out our finished products below!
