Rainforest Unit

We have been studying the rainforest by doing a number of things! We have learned ALL of the countries in South America, ALL of the countries in Central America, and even had an Easter egg hunt for vocabulary words! Some of the words include bromeliad, orchid, preserve, solution, acid-free paper, aloft, ascend, canopy, and trapeze. Our class has been working very hard - from preserving our own specimens to having scavenger hunts for features of informational texts. We even have the opportunity to interview the canopy researcher we have been studying!
